The Bums (The Bravo Uniform Mikes)

Two-piece band The BUMs formed in 2023 in the Manawatu region.

The band have been extensively touring across the country after relocating to Wellington in 2024.

They are the hardest working band in New Zealand having played 51 shows in 52 weeks (Feb 2024 to Feb 2025) across the country including shows with these legendary bands:

  • Head like a Hole, NZ (2 shows)
  • Hammers, Australia
  • The Schizophonics, USA
  • The D4, NZ
  • Alestorm, Scotland
  • Guitar Wolf, Japan

In May 2024, The BUMs released their debut EP "Punching Darts & Breaking Hearts" to all major streaming services.

In November 2024 they released their second EP called  "The Second EP".

2025 will bring their 3rd EP.

Tomas finished his studies with Whitireia in Wellington in 2023. He is a hard hitting, high energy drummer.

Nick is currently studying towards a Masters in Music in Wellington.

He is a multi instrumentalist, composer, producer and recording studio engineer.
